Day 34 of San Francisco Shelter in Life
It's Day 34th of San Francisco Shelter in Place order. Bambi was limping her back leg so we were home resting from Thursday. I decided to organize a massive amount of photos (not digitals...print out photos!) . I love taking pictures so I collected so many pictures. I was hesitant since it was an overwhelming amount of pictures. But, it's a perfect chance to tackle any project at home...yes now or never! It took 4 days to finish this project but I finished! Yaaaay!!! I threw out about 500 pictures. I still have more than I need (or should) but it's so difficult to get rid of many of them. It's difficult for me to even look at my late father's pictures and I can't possibly get rid of my mom's (who is staying at ICU and fighting for her life now) pictures. From KonMari method, sentimental items are most difficult category to deal with. I think I did good at this point in my life because I realized that I was not ready to let go of many of my family pictures and I accepted that. I can probably reduce more in the future when I am ready. For now I am proud of myself. After all, all my pictures are in my albums and reorganized by category now.
I rarely print out pictures any more. I still love taking pictures but all are digitals now. I guess the next project will be reorganizing digital pictures!
Bambi's leg is better now. She can't jump yet ↓ but she ran on the weekend. So HAPPY 💛
If you are hoarding pictures like me, this is the perfect time to tackle them. It's overwhelming but it's doable. It feels like you will never finish but you will! ...Hopefully, this crazy life will be over ... someday soon!
