San Francisco Sheltered-in Life Day9
It's Day 9 of San Francisco Sheltered-in order. My family living in Japan are affected by Corona as well. My mom is in the hospital since last October and she is now in ICU. My sister visits her everyday. At this point, because of the mask shortage, all hospital visitors have to bring their own mask to get in. My sister told me last night "if all my masks run out, I won't be able to visit my mom...but I can't find mask anywhere." So this morning, I went to send all masks I have at home.
Fortunately, USPS was open today. No line was big plus...but as soon as they saw my package, they said "All international mail will take a long time now... maybe 1 month or 2 month...who knows?". Oh no! Since airplanes are not flying due to Corona preventions, no mail will be delivered. Will my package get there on time? or get there at all?
Please get there on time... so that my sister can be with my mom as long as she is allowed. Everything is uncertain now...nothing can be taken for granted. Tomorrow is a new day literally. I learn everyday...and it's only day 9.
