Day 100 of San Francisco Shelter in Life
It's Day 100 of San Francisco Shelter in Life. Shelter in Place order is a little relaxing now but looks like it will continue one way or other and will be adopted to our lives for a long time. I decided to stop counting days for now. Last week, my first homemade Kombucha was finally ready. It was so exciting and I drink drink drink...and I got drunk!
I can't believe it! I've never heard that anybody got drunk from Kombucha!!! I actually didn't feel buzzed...but when Bambi's papa came home, he asked me "are you drunk?" ... then, I realized I was! He noticed because of my behaviors and face!
My 1st batch was 3 berry flavors (strawberries, rasberries and blueberries). I wanted more fizzy but it was not too fizzy... The 2nd batch fermentation started now. ↓ (3rd day of 2nd fermentation) This time I made 3 flavors : strawberry, apricot and mixed of ginger and pear). I used all real organic fruits for flavors. Looks like this batch is a little more fizzy. I am experimenting with different flavors. I am looking forward to tasting them!
Kombucha is very good for health and beauty. I would like to continue...but I got to be careful not to get drunk! (←still can't believe it!)
