Day 76 of San Francisoc Shelter in Life ★ 2nd weeks Keto Life
It's Day 76 of San Francisco Shelter in Place order. It's been 2 weeks since I started ketogenic lifestyle . My weight came off pretty quick during my 1st week but my weight fluctuated 1~1.5lb everyday for my 2nd week. The end of 2nd week my weigh in was -0.6lb. It's almost no change. In order to avoid keto flu , I took Dr. Berg Nutritional Yeast and Electrolyte Powder supplements everyday. I didn't have any headache or fatigue all week. On Wednesday (middle of the 2nd week) my eczema flared up. I used my prescription cream and it was okay the next day. I am not sure if this has anything to do with keto, but it could be part of the process.
To be honest, I wanted to lose more weight during my last week. All ketogenic foods were delicious and satisfying so I was not discouraged though. I didn't have any junk food so far. I love chips and breads but I didn't have any craving. Of course, whenever I see them at stores, they look delicious (but I don't buy them so no harm done!). All considered, I think it was still a win!
These are part of my keto foods last week ↑ Some new recipes I tried last week were brussel sprouts casserole, lemon mug cake, chocolate chip chaffle, peanuts butter cookies 🥜 and cottage cheese steam cake. All recipes are ketogenic and delicious. For this week, I will cut yogurt off my diet and see how it goes. Let's have fun with the keto journey!
