Day 22 of San Francisco Shelter in Life and Bambi's nail trimming day

It's Day 22 of San Francisco Shelter in place order. We went to get Bambi's food today and stopped by groomers. When it comes to Bambi, I love to do everything. Bathing, cleaning her eye and ear boogers etc. She is my baby girl after all. We tried to do her nails when she was a puppy. She was afraid of that and struggled and fought with us so hard! We tried with many different type of nail clippers including nail trimmer machine. After she had her knee surgery, it became too dangerous to cut ourselves. Bambi is very shy with other people (besides me and bambi papa). When anyone else hold Bambi, she freezes. Groomers can cut her nails quickly and easily. After we discovered that, we started to bring her to groomers for nails. It has been 10 years! (she is 12 years old now). But, now we found out pet grooming is closed...under the guideline they are not an "essential" business. Oh no! Bambi's nails are out of control!!! Can't wait another 1 month and possibly longer....!

We decided to try again after 10 years! Bambi had a long walk, got shampooed and had empty stomach (before dinner). Perfect! She was ready! Bambi papa held her and I cut her nail. We did it!!! Yaaaay!!! Bambi fought a bit but we got all her nails done! Maybe because she was tired or she is now 12years old not 2. I am so proud of her and us ☺
