Kabocha power
My Bambi (chihuahua) is already 12 years old now. As she's going into a senior life, it seemed to be very painful to poop these days. Especially because she has weak back legs, when she tries and tries, she gets so wobbly. Then, she ends up not going after all her tries. That happened too often, I started to steam up (kabocha) pumpkin and mixed with her food every time.
Wow, the Kabocha pumpkin power!!! It worked insanely. The next day I gave her pumpkins, Bambi pooped six times. After that, I steam pumpkin (sometimes sweet potato) for her every day. She is only 3.9lb tiny girl so she only eats very small portion. So Bambi papa also eats some left over steam pumpkin or sweet potatos. Thanks to Bambi, the whole family is constipation free! Yay!!! If your senior dog is constipated, try it. Bambi loves it and she is a very happy pooper now.
