Day 87 of San Francisco Shelter in Life
It's Day 87 of San Francisco Shelter in Place order. That means it's been 87 days since I saw Chief and Shirley last time and I will see them today for sleepovers. I am super excited to see them again. My work is petsitting and dogsitting in San Francisco. (I haven't restarted my work yet.) I used to see them everyday before shelter in place order. I missed them so much and I looked at their pictures all the time. Today...I can hug their big fluffy body...it's like a dream ♥♥♥ After COVID-19, I realized more how happy that made me feel. I am so thankful!
Since I started this job, I met many furry friends and had to say goodbye to some of them. When that happens, my heart is completely broken and can't recover from that loss for a while. I try to think that it could be the last time I see them everytime I see every pup and kittie. You never know because their lives are very short. This COVID-19 also made me think that...I can't take anything for granted.
It'll be so much fun! I love my job and I have never had a job I love that made me this happy. I know that COVID-19 affected everyone's economy and my kind of job will get impacted by them. I don't know what'll happen in the future but I will do what I can...for now. Sorry Bambi...share mama for little bit now.
