Day 45 of San Francisco Shelter in Life

It's Day 45 of San Francisco Shelter in Place order and 1st day of May!!! I have to admit that one of my favorite activities during staying home life is food.  I love cooking, eating and watching foodie shows 💛  I have been stress eating so comfort food was my "comfort" lately.  I weigh myself everyday so I knew my weight is creeping up gradually but I pretended not to notice.... but I gained 10 pounds now and I can't ignore it any longer.  sigh... I got to do something about out of control food cravings!

OMG moment

Bambi's papa told me that Bambi seems heavy.  She goes walking everyday with me but definitely she is eating more lately.  So I weigh Bambi today, too.  She was 3.9 lb and she didn't gain weight at all.  Yay for her!  She doesn't need to go on a diet.

May has just started and summer is coming.  So it's great timing.  I can't do any extreme dieting any more so my first week strategies are only three things.  1. Drink lots of water (at least 1.5ℓ = 3 bottles including decafe teas) 2. Intermittent fasting (8 hours eating time and 16 hours fasting) 3. At least one hour daily exercise.  Main goal is to control my non-stop food cravings so #2 will be the most difficult for this week.  Let's see how it goes.  The above picture is my first meal today at 1pm.  Overnight Oats (organic oats, coconuts milk, banana, blueberries and rasberries sweetened with monk fruit sugar substitute)  Many people might have the same problem as me.... if you are gaining, let's go back to a healthier lifestyle!
